| The wine is named after Sabatino Lulli, known as Sabazio, a monk from the Montepulciano Abbey who first gave indications on how to produce wine from local varieties in medieval times. The first production dates from 1992. The estate La Braccesca has been owned by Marchesi Antinori since 1990. |
