Interesting facts
Marc Sorrel considers this his greatest wine ever. Out of barrel, the 2017 Gréal is described as a blockbuster with notes of ink and dark cherry, with such intensity, concentration and depth. The wine comes from vines in the Le Meal vineyard on steep hillsides with granite, limestone, sand and clay soils. Aged in used French oak barrels for 18 to 24 months. Production is close to 200 cases per vintage.
