Tasting
Color Desc A glowing pale primrose
Aroma Delicious marriage of roasted almond and hazelnut with vegetal and floral notes (hawthorn, elderflower, fern, lime tree, verbena) and mineral (flint). Butter, honey, and citrus also entice the nose. Ripe citrus, peach, and mango wrapped in creamy oak with a subtle sweetness.
Palate On the palate, a rich wine with a delightful and joyful hazelnut flavor. Beautiful balance between creaminess and freshness. Long and structured. Very intense with a long finish on minerality and slight vanilla notes.
Finish Notably long finish, with the right acidity. Long mineral finish.
Food Pairing Shrimp avocado cocktail – scallops – grilled bass – veal stew in sauce – cream chicken – veal rice with morels. Beaufort – Langres – Époisses. It pairs excellently with rich seafood dishes, roasted chicken.
